The Tata Nexon makeover has been testing in recent weeks, although under camouflage. This subcompact SUV, which has dominated its sector in terms of sales, is about to receive a slew of feature changes, both inside and out. The new Tata Nexon facelift has been seen unmasked ahead of its unveiling, giving us our first full look at its front design.
Tushar, an automotive aficionado, deserves credit for releasing these rare spy images. These design upgrades, combined with a new petrol engine, are expected to boost sales even more, giving it an even bigger advantage over existing rivals Maruti Brezza, Hyundai Venue, and Kia Sonet.
The Tata Nexon under 4m SUV was initially introduced in 2017. It got a mid-life makeover in 2020, and now this best-seller, not just in Tata Motors’ portfolio, but also in the sub-4 metre SUV crossover sector, is preparing for its next significant revision.
The front design of Tata Nexon is primarily influenced by the Harrier EV, which debuted at the 2023 Auto Expo.
The front bumper now has a repositioned headlight cluster, a reworked central air intake, and a more prominent grille with a connected LED light bar positioned above it. The design upgrades also include new alloy wheels.
Inside, there’s a new steering wheel, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and a redesigned digital dashboard. Buttons appear to have been removed entirely from the dashboard. All controls are accomplished using a touch-sensitive console or touchscreen. Tata Motors may possibly provide a facelift for the Tata Nexon with ADAS safety features, making it the brand’s third model after the Harrier and Safari’s Red Dark Edition.
The ADAS system on the company’s flagship SUV model would be comparable to that seen on the Harrier and Safari. High beam assist, lane change alert, lane departure warning, door open alert, traffic sign recognition, blind spot detection, rear cross-traffic alert, rear collision warning, forward collision warning, and autonomous emergency braking might all be included. It may also receive a 360-degree camera.
