Tata Electric SUV: Tata Motors will Expose their High-Tech Electric SUV on 29th April

The homegrown automaker Tata Motors decided to end all the rumours and fog by releasing the new Electric SUV. Recently, the company revealed its latest and high-tech CURVV concept that takes car lovers to the dream world. After watching the short teaser video we have come out from the illusion as it is pointing out something new focusing on the future.

We were assuming that Tata could launch its long-range EV  through a new SUV having a zero-emission future. However, Tata teased that the official date to launch the brand new electric SUV is 29th April which means we have to wait just for 3 days.

The renowned car manufacturer recently lead the passenger electric vehicle space in India. In the EV Space, Tata Motors makes a big name and the credit goes to the Nexon EV and Tigor EV.

On 6th April 2022, at 12 AM IST, Tata Motors reveals the CURVV Concept and the head of the design revealed their plan as they want to make a  car that is dynamic, elegant, and sporty. He explains it is a high-power generating car. The car has quite a large view, the command driving position. The surfaces of the car are made cleanly and definitely sufficient which makes it more sporty. The surfaces of the car are manufactured with headland architecture and squared up the backend.

The car has a strong aerodynamic concept passing through the SUV. The wheels contain an aeroblade in the open area that can allow better airflow along the surface and it makes the car more dynamic and sporty. This EV also offers class-leading dimensions. The entire cabin of the car is augmented by a panorama sunroof to get the feeling of light. The EV’s slim top DRL and triangular headlamp design provide a recognizable signature and introduce an animated welcome feature.

The official Twitter and other sources confirm that on 29th April 2022, Tata is going to reveal one of the three cars Tata Nexon EV or Tata Altroz EV, or Tata Sliq. The latest electric drivetrain features the long-range Nexon EV, which possesses the strength of covering more than 400 km on a single charge. It will launch earlier next year. The teaser video reveals LED DRLs in the front along the width.

The car is designed with a split headlamp setup with main headlights seen on the lower bumper.  The headlamp unit takes a triangle shape and looks amazing. There are machine-cut alloy wheels ended in grey. The badge of Tata is set in the middle. If it becomes a  mid-size SUV coupe then it will be more likely developed by the ALFA platform that belongs to Altroz.

Tata is giving their effort on three EV platforms as one is a dedicated skateboard-based electric SUV with fine styling and cabin to get the advantage of the optimal battery packaging. As the new teaser just only reveals the body of the upcoming EV, so it is assumed that Tata can reveal any of the three  EV models which are the Tata Nexon EV, Tata Altroz EV, and Tata Sliq.

1. Tata Nexon EV

The Sierra does not support IC motors. The electric beast was made by following the new electric SUV concept. As the teaser reveals  LED DRLs in the front along the width. The car is designed with a split headlamp setup with main headlights seen on the lower bumper.  The headlamp unit takes a triangle shape that looks awesome.  The battery capacity of the car is 40 kWh. The power output is 168 FPS. The distance per charge covered 400 km.  The origin of power sources is a permanent magnet synchronous motor situated at the front side.

The motor is able to produce  127bhp of highest power and 245 Nm of peak torque. It possesses the power to push the SUV from 0-100 kmph in 9.9 seconds and run the car with a  top speed of 120 kmph. It is a five-seater car. It is assuming if the car is updated then it might fetch some subtle tweaks to that exterior with a high-tech system.

2. Tata Altroz EV

At the 2019 Geneva Motor Show concept get back and the new Electric SUV was developed based on the ALFA platform that belongs to Altroz.  After that, it becomes one of the most attractive models. It has the same design as the regular IC engine-powered  Altroz. We will be expecting that the production version will be revealed on 29th April we are expecting the batter will be featured by Ziptron powertrain that gives the range of 300kms.

It also features a fast-charging capacity from 0 to 80 percent within 60 minutes, it has a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, cruise control, a semi-digital instrument cluster, and ambient lighting.

3. Tata Sliq

Tata Sliq is the third and new possibility that Tata can reveal on 29th April. The car is equipped with a completely new concept. The car lovers assume that this car is a modified version of the Nexon EV that will expose with a bigger battery pack and the latest tech features.

The larger battery pack is expected to offer an ideal range of approx. 400km, it might offer areal-world range closer to 300km. the 2022 Tata Nexon EV will also come with more strength.  The car will receive a more powerful 6.6kW AC charger
