Jee Karda OTT Release Date, Plot, Cast, and Expectation
The glamorous Indian actress Tamannaah Bhatia makes her OTT debut with the web series, ‘Jee Karda’. She has unlocked the teaser of her upcoming web series, Jee Karda. The story of the series follows seven childhood friends, two of them decide to marry after getting a drunk proposal. At the final moment, while the wedding celebration is just going to start, they realize it is a big mistake. Aashim Gulati of Taj fame appears as the love interest of Tamannaah Bhatia.
Jee Karda: Plot
The trailer starts with the big question, “What if love invades friendship?” Suhail Nayar aka Rishab proposes marriage to Lavanya aka Tamannaah Bhatia his longtime girlfriend. After the proposal, Aashim Gulati assumes something and asks a doubtful Suhail if she takes the proposal in a drunk state. They move forward with the wedding plans; they have planned all from ‘vacation to abortion’. Their common school friends have been played by Aashim Gulati, Anya Singh, Hussain Dalal, Sayan Banerjee, and Samvedna Suwalka participate actively in the wedding celebrations.
In the very final moments, they feel they are not in love. In one of the scenes, Aashim tells Tamannaah that the decisions she has taken out of fear, but he makes his decision at his own will. While Aashim romantically deploys his love for Tamannaah, she tells him that he should be done it sooner. After crossing the phase of infatuation, and some doubtful commitment, finally they come to the phase of heartbreak.
While talking about the series, Tamannaah Bhatia said “I had an absolutely incredible time working on Jee Karda. For me, this show was the closest I’ve ever played a character that resonated with my own persona. Being a true Mumbai girl, having grown up in this vibrant city. The friendships I formed in school were unlike any other, and I believe those kinds of bonds are irreplaceable.”
“This show truly captures the essence of nostalgia, reflecting the dynamics and experiences I understand so well from the city I belong to,” she added.
