Netflix’s Take Charge of My Heart is shaping up to be one of 2026’s most charming romantic-comedy K-dramas — blending quirky fantasy, heartfelt moments, and irresistible chemistry between its leads. Based on the hit web novel Charge Me Up, this series promises laughs, love, and an electrifying journey you don’t want to miss.

Take Charge of My Heart: Overview

💘 What’s the Story?

Take Charge of My Heart follows Baek Ho-rang, a charismatic third-generation heir whose life and leadership dreams are literally powered by an artificial heart that’s running low on battery — until he meets No Bo-bae, a spirited woman with the unique ability to generate electricity.

Bo-bae is a screenwriter racing to finish her romance screenplay while managing an unusual side effect: anyone she touches — literally — gets shocked due to electrical currents in her body from a childhood accident. When Ho-rang comes into her life, something unexpected happens — he doesn’t get shocked. Sparks fly… literally and figuratively.
