Dusan Vlahovic linked with surprise Real Madrid loan move for 22/23

Real Madrid have been linked with a loan move for Juventus forward Dusan Vlahovic, with the player extensively rumoured to leave Turin this summer. Several top clubs are interested in signing him including Manchester United and Chelsea.

However, the Premier League clubs want a permanent move for him while Madrid are only interested in signing him on a loan deal. Even a temporary move would cost them around €15-20 million, which has complicated matters owing to their conservative strategy in the transfer market.

Chelsea have reportedly made a €60 million offer to sign the Serbian forward, but have been asked to raise their offer by Juventus. Manchester United have also made contact, but a formal bid has not been placed yet by them.

The former Fiorentina man has had a difficult time in Turin in comparison to his spell in violet. He was in free scoring form prior to his move to the Bianconeri, and has now found himself unable to replicate his previous form. This is a result of the tactics employed by Max Allegri as well, which has further fuelled rumours of Dusan Vlahovic leaving the club.

This past season, he scored 10 goals and provided two assists in 27 Serie A games, missing out on the Golden Boot by a huge margin.

Real Madrid, on the other hand, need to replace Karim Benzema after his move to Al Ittihad. Although they have signed Joselu on a loan move, they need a more prolific forward to lead the line. Kylian Mbappe is very unlikely to sign for them this summer given that he still has one year of contract with PSG. And a move is much more realistic next summer when he will be a free agent.

With Harry Kane also unlikely to be signed given his price tag, Madrid have turned to Dusan Vlahovic as a temporary solution. But, a deal will be quite challenging to navigate especially considering the other clubs interested in signing him this summer.

Joselu officially signs for Real Madrid on loan for 23/24

Real Madrid have completed the signing of Joselu on a loan deal from Espanyol. The forward will be the replacement for Karim Benzema, who left to sign for Al Ittihad on a €200 million deal. The Spain international will spend the 2023/24 season on loan with Los Blancos, and is expected to be a short-term solution to the club’s striker problems.

This leaves Joselu as the only natural striker in the line-up, with makeshift roles for Rodrygo and Fede Valverde other possible options for them. The striker returns to Real Madrid, having once been part of their youth system. He scored two goals in two appearances across two seasons during his last spell, and will now be the first-choice striker for the coming season.

Jude Bellingham transfer news: What next for Real Madrid in the transfer market?

Real Madrid are now exploring the opportunity for a transfer to bring Kylian Mbappe to the club. The Frenchman is likely to be sold this summer after he told PSG that he will not be extending his contract until 2025. However, a deal will not be easy considering the difficult relationship between the two clubs.

How will Dortmund replace Jude Bellingham?

Borussia Dortmund are in the market to sign Edson Alvarez from Ajax in order to replace Jude Bellingham. Negotiations are expected to continue this week between the two parties to work out a deal, following the conclusion of Bellingham’s transfer to Real Madrid. • Marco Asensio to PSG: Free transfer imminent for Spanish winger

Marco Asensio to PSG: Free transfer imminent for Spanish winger

Marco Asensio to PSG is now in the works.

June 4, 2023 update: The move has been given the here we go signal by Fabrizio Romano, and the player has agreed a contract until June 2027 verbally.

Aston Villa recently made an offer to sign the out-of-contract Real Madrid winger. But, Marco Asensio to PSG looks more likely right now after the French club made an improved offer to land him as a free agent.

The forward has decided to leave Madrid, as confirmed officially, in search of a more important role on the pitch. And it seems like he could have that in the French capital once the transfer window opens.

Madrid were keen on offering him a new deal. They were open to giving him a wage hike, and were also comfortable with letting him choose the length of the contract. But, they could not offer assurances about playing time. And that proved to be the deal breaker which will see the winger leave the club, on the back of a remarkable season where he has impressed as an impact sub in many games.

Marco Asensio to PSG: Transfer more likely with new offer

A new challenge in the Premier League was almost in the works, after Villa’s proposal. But, PSG’s improved contract offer has shifted the transfer in their favour, with Asensio more likely to sign for the Ligue 1 champions as things stand.

The agreement between the two parties is close, but not fully completed yet. But PSG are confident of at least reaching a verbal agreement in the coming days.

Marco Asensio will play his final game with Real Madrid this weekend, and will then say goodbye to the fans. His departure is set to be confirmed shortly after that, with PSG waiting.

Why do PSG need Marco Asensio?

With Lionel Messi expected to leave PSG this summer, they will be without a first-choice right winger. And the Spain international could fulfil that role in the squad. However, he is quite versatile and can play anywhere across the front three if asked to.

The forward has scored 12 goals and provided six assists across 42 appearances in all competitions. And a number of them have been from the bench, with Rodrygo or Federico Valverde starting more on the right flank than him.

The French giants are planning an overhaul this summer, and Asensio could be the first of a decent list of players to move to the capital city.

    What next for Real Madrid?

After Marco Asensio to PSG, and a potential departure for Dani Ceballos as well, Real Madrid will need reinforcements. Brahim Diaz is expected to stay at the Santiago Bernabeu after his three-year loan spell with Milan, that has seen him develop into an influential forward player.

It seems unlikely that he could displace Rodrygo as the first-choice option on the right. But, he will be able to provide a significant impact when brought in as a substitute or rotated. Diaz can also play through the middle in a number 10 role, making him more versatile and presenting Carlo Ancelotti a wide array of options for his team.

However, a new player could also be brought in to cover for the outgoing Asensio.

  • Marco Asensio PSG transfer confirmed: Agreement for contract until June 2027

Marco Asensio PSG transfer confirmed: Agreement for contract until June 2027

Marco Asensio PSG transfer: The move has been given the here we go signal by renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano, which means that it is only a matter of time before it is made official. The player has finally reached an agreement on personal terms until June 2027, and will formally sign the contract in the coming days.

He will say goodbye to the Real Madrid fans for the final time in their last game of the season. And thereafter, he will be able to join the French club as a free agent when his contract expires. The deal is expected to be completed next week and an announcement will be made soon after.

Marco Asensio PSG update: Here we go confirmed

The Spaniard has been an impact sub for several parts of the season, but has failed to start regularly under Carlo Ancelotti. The Italian has opted to use Federico Valverde and Rodrygo on the right wing ahead of Asensio. And as a result, his playing time has been restricted.

However, he has made an impact whenever called upon, scoring 12 goals and providing six assists in 42 appearances across all competitions. And at PSG, he will be expected to replace Messi on the right. The Argentine will also be on the move, leaving the Parisians as a free agent at the end of his contract.

While Asensio might not have a similar profile to Messi, he will be able to have his own unique impact under the new project in place at the club. Luis Campos has identified Asensio as the right man to join, and it remains to be seen how he adapts.

Aston Villa were also interested in trying to sign the Real Madrid forward on a free transfer. But PSG’s proposal was far better than that offered by Villa, even though they have qualified for the Europa Conference League next season. As a result, a verbal agreement is now in place for the forward’s move to Ligue 1. It now remains to be seen how he is played in the new league.

Marco Asensio PSG transfer is on

Will Real Madrid replace Marco Asensio after his PSG move?

Los Blancos will have Brahim Diaz returning after three years on loan at Milan. And it is likely that he will be the direct replacement for Marco Asensio at the club. However, the board is also trying to sign Kai Havertz from Chelsea regardless of the situation with Karim Benzema. As a result, the German could also be used as a unique member in the attacking line. However, it is likely that Carlo Ancelotti will continue using either of Valverde or Rodrygo on the right hand side of the attacking trident.

Real Madrid will also say goodbye to Eden Hazard and Mariano Diaz at the end of the season. The club has confirmed that Hazard’s contract will be terminated a year early after his injury laden spell with them. On the other hand, Diaz has remained fairly anonymous during his recent spell at Madrid. And he will also leave the club as a free agent.

  • Isco to sign for Rayo Vallecano as a free agent after 6 months away from football

Isco to sign for Rayo Vallecano as a free agent after 6 months away from football

Several former Real Madrid free agents are finding new clubs this transfer window. Isco is one of them, having been without a club since leaving Sevilla during the winter. He had a fallout with the board and the coach with the Basque club and is now expected to sign for Rayo Vallecano in the coming weeks.

Negotiations between the two parties are quite advanced and should be completed very soon. Reports from Spain, in particular, from Mundo Deportivo, suggest that the player has chosen Vallecano as his next destination and the move is only a matter of time.

During the January transfer window, there were strong possibilities of a move to Union Berlin for the midfielder. But due to financial issues and several other minor reasons, the transfer fell through and he has been away from football for the second half of the 2022/23 season.

Isco to sign for Rayo Vallecano as a free agent in the coming weeks

After carefully considering his options, the midfielder has chosen Rayo Vallecano as the best possible option to take his career forward. There were links with a move abroad to Porto as well – but the club’s head coach, Sergio Conceiçao, was not convinced of Isco’s abilities. As a result, a transfer to Portugal did not materialise for him.

The 31-year-old is now set to stay in Madrid for the next chapter of his career, which should be finalised soon. Alongside him, Real Madrid players like Mariano Diaz, Marco Asensio, Karim Benzema and Eden Hazard are all leaving the club and are moving elsewhere for the next phases of their career.
