1. Jailer 2 — Tamil, October 15
Rajinikanth is back, and he’s brought the whole neighborhood with him. Venkatesh Daggubati plays Chittibabu, the head of a family that looks picture-perfect from the outside. Director Trivikram Srinivas, known for sharp family dramas with comic timing, digs into what happens when a single incident cracks that image open and long-buried secrets spill out. The family has to confront its differences and figure out what actually holds them together. Srinidhi Shetty, Nara Rohith and Nivetha Pethuraj round out a cast built for an emotional, comedy-laced ensemble drama.

This one marks the directorial debut of Jason Sanjay, son of superstar Thalapathy Vijay, and it’s already generating buzz. A small incident involving a rat pulls the two into deep conversations about mortality and survival. Through flashbacks, Muthu’s centuries-spanning love for Aadhira, a woman reborn across different eras, unfolds, and Raghu gets pulled into Muthu’s search for redemption. Nivin Pauly, Soori and Anjali headline this genre-blending romantic thriller.
8. Itllu Arjuna — Telugu, October 30
Director Mahesh Uppala centers this one on Arjun, a speech-impaired young man with extraordinary physical strength who communicates entirely through expression and action.
