Let us inform you that actress Palak Sidhwani received a letter from the creators of Tarak Mehta recently for allegedly breaching the terms of her contract. The complaint claimed that Palak participated in unapproved third-party commercials without receiving written consent. The letter also claims that she was warned verbally and in writing multiple times before continuing with this job, which jeopardized the integrity of the series and her character. Strict measures were taken against her as a result.
The actress did, however, add in her statement, “On September 19, 2024, the doctor recommended Palak to undergo strict rest and therapy because Palak has been under a lot of mental pressure due to the harassment, which has further impaired her health. But the production company denied her any leave, made her continue filming for the show under duress, and treated her cruelly—all of which amounted to exploitation—despite her grave health.”
