Indian Automobile SUV market Boom: Here are the waiting time of the SUVs

Automobile manufacturers are raising production of their high-demand vehicles to keep up with consumer demand as the small and midsize SUV segments experience steady growth. The Mahindra XUV700 has been a huge success for the domestic SUV maker, and the waiting list for some models is currently up to 21 months.

In August 2022, the Scorpio N also has a waiting period that can last up to 21 months. The new generation was introduced a few weeks ago, and customers seem to like it. One lakh reservations for the initial batch of the Scorpio N, which had 25,000 units, were made in just 30 minutes.

One of the most popular compact SUVs in the nation, the Kia Sonet has a waiting period of up to 11 months for some variations.

Customers who wish to purchase a Hyundai Venue will have to wait up to 7 months, and it recently had a significant makeover. The second-generation Mahindra Thar has a waiting period of up to 6 months whereas the Kia Seltos has one of up to 7 months.

While the Nexon, the nation’s best-selling SUV, has a waiting period of up to 5 months and up to 8 months for the Nexon EV, the Tata Punch has a waiting period of up to 6 months. The waiting period for the next Toyota Hyryder and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara is anticipated to be up to 4 months.
