Supernatural Leaving Netflix: Where to Watch the Cult Classic in 2025

After over a decade on Netflix, the Winchester brothers are packing up their Impala and hitting the road to new streaming destinations. The beloved horror-fantasy series Supernatural is bidding farewell to Netflix US this December, but fans can breathe easy—the show has already secured not one, but two new streaming homes.

Supernatural’s Streaming Transition

Why Is Supernatural Leaving Netflix?

The series has been on Netflix since 2014, with each season arriving shortly after its network conclusion. The departure comes as licensing agreements expire, with Warner Bros. Television redistributing their catalog across different platforms. This is part of a broader trend affecting The CW shows on Netflix, including Arrow and The 100, which are also exiting the platform.

How to Watch Supernatural After Netflix

Option 1: Prime Video – Available NOW (December 1, 2025)
All 15 seasons are currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video, giving fans immediate access to the complete series.

Option 2: Peacock – Coming December 22, 2025
The NBCUniversal streaming service will host all seasons just days after the Netflix departure. Tier availability (free vs. premium) hasn’t been confirmed yet.

Both platforms ensure there’s no gap where Supernatural disappears entirely from streaming—a relief for devoted fans and newcomers alike.

What Makes Supernatural Worth Watching?

This paranormal phenomenon follows brothers Sam and Dean Winchester as they battle demons, ghosts, and monsters across America. The show masterfully blends horror, humor, and heart, building a dedicated fanbase that kept it running for 15 years. Whether you’re revisiting classic episodes or discovering the series for the first time, Supernatural remains one of television’s most influential fantasy shows.

The series offers both English and Spanish audio with subtitles, making it accessible to a global audience.
