Summer Vacation K-Drama: Jin Young and Cho Yi Hyun Bring a Teenage Summer You’ll Never Forget

Remember that one summer that quietly changed everything? Summer Vacation is built around exactly that feeling. The new poster release has fans counting down to the premiere.

What’s the Story?

Kim Ha Yeon is an ordinary 18-year-old who is tired of her ordinary life. She daydreams about a prince on a white horse, or a wealthy birth mother who will turn up one day. Then a trip to Upo Village with her father, who is there on business, changes her summer.

There she meets Jo Yu Gyeom, the landowner’s son and eldest grandson of the head family. He is a gifted swimmer whose days follow strict, old-fashioned routines, until a curious girl walks into his quiet life.

Why the Posters Are Winning Hearts?

The new posters show the pair in lush green village scenery with a slightly dreamy, almost magical mood. Jo Yu Gyeom’s soft smile seems to hide a story, while Ha Yeon looks on with wide-eyed curiosity. Together, the two images hint at real chemistry.

The production team says they wanted to capture the “miraculous moments” two people find in each other during the one summer of being 18 that never returns.

Why You Should Watch?

• Fresh pairing: Two rising leads with a natural youthful spark.
• Relatable heroine: Who hasn’t dreamed of a more dramatic life?
• Nostalgic mood: A slow, sunlit village setting made for cozy autumn viewing.
