A Street Fighter 6 demo is now accessible on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, according to a CAPCOM announcement, allowing anyone to play the eagerly anticipated fighting game. The Street Fighter 6 demo will also be available to PC and Xbox Series S|X users the following week, beginning on April 26 at midnight Pacific Time.
The Street Fighter 6 demo offers the fundamentals of the Tutorial, practice with Ryu and Luke in the Character Guide, a brief look at the World Tour mode, and some character creation activities.
If you play on the same platform as the Street Fighter 6 demo, your custom characters will also transfer over to the full game. CAPCOM also revealed a tonne of fresh information regarding the game’s various modes and content during the live stream. The brand-new World Tour mode was the first thing the creators showed off. The fictitious Asian nation of Nayshall is one of the many places that players can explore in this mode.
In World Tour, you can also play a role-playing game by using items you find in food stores or during battle to gain Vitality, get buffs, or harm your opponents. Players will level up their characters throughout the mode and allocate skill points on a specific skill tree to customize their moves.
To learn their special moves, players will also enroll as students under their favorite Masters (any of the 18 characters present at launch). It will even be possible to give them gifts and finish missions to strengthen your relationship with them, which will open up new cutscenes that show off how closely your custom fighter is related to the legendary Street Fighter characters.
With the Avatar Battles mode, all of your character-building work can be displayed online. About multiplayer, Custom Rooms can now accommodate up to 16 players. Here, players can choose between One on One, Extreme Battle (where they must adhere to specific rules), and Practise for each of the four virtual cabinets.
Of course, ranked matches are back in Street Fighter 6 with some upgrades. When defeated, rookies won’t lose any League Points, which will motivate them to play more and get better. Additionally, each character will have a unique ranking from the others, letting players experiment with different characters without worrying about sacrificing their well-earned position.
