Gamers can test out Street Fighter 6 before it is released thanks to Capcom. Fighting game fans have a lot of new titles and DLC coming out in 2023, so it looks great. This covers both the upcoming Mortal Kombat game and DLC for Guilty Gear Strive.
Street Fighter 6 is one of the most significant fighting game releases this year. For many fans of the genre, the game’s release in June will mark the beginning of the summer. Although the game has already had a beta this year, players will have another opportunity to try it out before the official release.
Street Fighter 6 will soon have a demo available for gamers to try out, according to Capcom.
On April 26, the demo will be made available on PC and Xbox Series X/S in addition to PS4 and PS5. Players can test out Fighting Ground’s World Tour mode and a few other modes during the trial. Gamers will also have access to Street Fighter 6’s Avatar Creator demo, which lets them create their characters. The progress made in the World Tour mode will not be carried over to the full version of the game, but avatars created in the trial will.
Four DLC fighters will be released during Street Fighter 6’s first year, it was also revealed. Rashid from Street Fighter 5, A.K.I., Ed from Street Fighter 4, and Street Fighter antagonist Akuma are the four characters. Release dates for Rashid, A.K.I., Ed, and Akuma are as follows: summer 2023 for Rashid, autumn 2023 for A.K.I., and spring 2024 for Akuma. The move sets of the fighters will be available for characters created specifically for the World Tour mode.
It was announced earlier this year that Street Fighter 6 will appear at EVO 2023. It will be one of eight games at the event, along with Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, King of Fighters 15, Dragon Ball FighterZ, and Guilty Gear Strive. The usual location for the competition, Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, will play host to EVO 2023 from August 4–8. Given that the event will be the game’s first significant public appearance, it will be a fantastic opportunity to observe the start of the competitive scene for Street Fighter 6 shortly after its release. It will be enjoyable to observe the game’s initial meta and hopefully some entertaining matches for the audience.
