Stream Your Favorite Games on Steam Deck with Simplified GeForce NOW Installation

Gamers rejoice! NVIDIA’s making it much easier for you to use the power of GeForce NOW on your Steam deck.

Steam Deck

A new beta installation method streamlines the process, automatically configuring GeForce NOW’s browser within Steam Deck’s Gaming Mode. This means that in no time you’ll be able to run and stream your favorite PC games.

Seamless Setup for Effortless Cloud Gaming

Prior to that, there was some manual configuration involved in setting up GeForce NOW on Steam. Now, the beta script takes care of everything. It will automatically install Google Chrome, the necessary browser for GeForce NOW, and configure all the settings needed for a smooth login and gaming experience.

Improved Gamepad Navigation for Intuitive Control

Complementing the installation improvements, the latest GeForce NOW update (version 2.0.62) introduced enhanced gamepad support for the web app. This will allow you to easily navigate through the GeForce NOW library by using your Steam deck controller or any other gamepad, such as ASUS ROG Ally, Logitech G Cloud, Lenovo Legion Go, MSI Claw and Razer Edge with a handheld device.

Expand Your Library with New GeForce NOW Additions

It’s not just installation ease that this week’s update is about. Seven exciting new games have also been added to the GeForce NOW library by NVIDIA.

Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice (Highlight): This critically acclaimed title from Ninja Theory might be seven years old, but with the sequel launching later this month, it’s the perfect time to jump in (or revisit) this atmospheric adventure game.

Stormgate Closed Beta: Get a taste of the latest closed beta for this upcoming RTS title.

Gray Zone Warfare: Immerse yourself in this open-world tactical first-person shooter.

MotoGP 24: Hit the track with the latest installment of the MotoGP racing series.

FOUNDRY (Early Access): Unleash your inner engineer and build intricate factories in this first-person builder game.

INDIKA: Embark on a unique third-person adventure with a touch of the bizarre.

Orcs Must Die! 3 (Epic Games Store): Defend your base from hordes of orcs in this action-packed strategy title.

Even More Games on the Horizon

The good news is still coming! You can expect a continuous stream of new additions to the library for GeForce NOW users during May. Some of the next highlights can be found here:

  • In May 9th: Little Kitty, Big City & Ships at Sea
  • In May 14th: The Rogue Prince of Persia
  • In May 15th: Men of War II
  • In May 16th: Die by the Blade & Norland
  • May 21st: Gestalt: Steam & Cinder, Synergy, SunnySide
  • May 23rd: Crown Wars: The Black Prince
  • In May 29th: Capes

This extensive list includes a diverse range of titles, from charming indies to strategic wargames. There’s really incredible for everybody to enjoy.

Unleash the Potential of Your Steam Deck with GeForce NOW

The improved installation process and enhanced gamepad support make GeForce NOW a more attractive option than ever for Steam Deck users. With its vast library of PC titles, GeForce NOW allows you to play demanding games that might not run natively on your handheld device.

It’s also going to give you access to a larger gaming universe by opening the doors for games from different shops, such as the Epic Games Store.

This is a great time for exploring the possibilities of GeForce NOW, whether you’ve been using Steam Deck long enough or just beginning to use it. You can enhance your Steam Deck experience and enjoy the power of cloud gaming on the move with a simplified setup and an ever expanding library.
