Steam Deck Gets Easier Access to Powerful Cloud Gaming with New GeForce NOW Beta

Stream Your Favorite Games on Steam Deck with Simplified GeForce NOW Installation

Gamers rejoice! NVIDIA’s making it much easier for you to use the power of GeForce NOW on your Steam deck.

Steam Deck

A new beta installation method streamlines the process, automatically configuring GeForce NOW’s browser within Steam Deck’s Gaming Mode. This means that in no time you’ll be able to run and stream your favorite PC games.

Seamless Setup for Effortless Cloud Gaming

Prior to that, there was some manual configuration involved in setting up GeForce NOW on Steam. Now, the beta script takes care of everything. It will automatically install Google Chrome, the necessary browser for GeForce NOW, and configure all the settings needed for a smooth login and gaming experience.

Improved Gamepad Navigation for Intuitive Control

Complementing the installation improvements, the latest GeForce NOW update (version 2.0.62) introduced enhanced gamepad support for the web app. This will allow you to easily navigate through the GeForce NOW library by using your Steam deck controller or any other gamepad, such as ASUS ROG Ally, Logitech G Cloud, Lenovo Legion Go, MSI Claw and Razer Edge with a handheld device.
