EA rumoured to release Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order 2 in Q4 2022 with Need for Speed following in Q3

According to trustworthy insider Tom Henderson, Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order 2 could be released later this year. He also stated that the game will most likely be revealed on Star Wars Day (which is on May 4th).

Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order 2 would most likely be a direct sequel to Respawn Entertainment’s game, which was launched in late 2019. As you may recall, the reception was fantastic.

Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order feels like a familiar experience, and this is both its main strength and major weakness. All of the elements of the game are well-crafted, but they feel quite derivative, as there is not a single gameplay mechanic that hasn’t been more or less lifted from a major franchise. Despite the lack of innovation, the game developed by Respawn is one of the best single-player games released in recent times and a must-buy for any Star Wars fan. Even those with only a passing interest in the series will find plenty to like here, granted they are not expecting to play a revolutionary title.

By March 2020, the game had sold over 10 million units, exceeding Electronic Arts’ forecasts. Indeed, its popularity as a solely single-player game is said to have persuaded Electronic Arts that Dragon Age 4 could forego its planned game as a service aspect to focus on delivering the single-player RPG that its fans crave.

Tom Henderson also shared an update on Dragon Age 4, as noted in the headline. Fans of the BioWare brand will have to wait until 2022 to play the next installment, which is set in the Tevinter Imperium magocracy.

This was always expected, as prior speculations suggested a 2023 release date. EA previously stated that the next Dragon Age game would be released in the fiscal year 2023, which would indicate a release before March 2023. Plans may have changed since then, resulting in a delayed delivery date this year.

Finally, Henderson stated that the next Need for Speed game, which is being developed by Criterion Games, will be released between September and October of this year. Criterion was momentarily put on hold to assist DICE with the production of Battlefield 2042, which caused the Need for Speed project to be delayed.
