Due to the present COVID pandemic condition tech giants like Google, Facebook is offering its employees the work from home option. Now Spotify enlisted its name to the list. It is allowing its employees to work from their homes throughout this year. It is an optional opportunity.
A Spotify spokesperson told, “We announced the extension of our work-from-home arrangement for all Spotify employees globally. We will continue to track local government guidelines city-by-city and take a phased approach of opening our offices when we deem it safe to do so. Our employees’ health and safety is our top priority. No employee will be required to come into the office and can choose to work from home through the end of the year.”
Rather than this decision, Spotify also made another one. This one is for the customers. It added a group season feature basically to increase the engagement. Now multiple premium users can listen tracks together and also can control the season.
Spotify is in the news for the past few months as it is preparing to compete with the similar platforms. It is not only leading the global market with around 35% share, but it also signed multiple deals to be better than ever. One of those deals is with Saregama to bring the oldies on its platform.
