Earlier this year, Sony unveiled the Xperia 10 III with Snapdragon 690 SoC and a triple-camera setup on the rear. Today, the Japanese tech giant has silently released the lite version of the device, dubbed the Sony Xperia 10 III Lite.
The device may be named Lite but its specs say otherwise as it cuts on some storage and offers eSIM functionality.
The Sony Xperia 10 III Lite comes at a price tag of JPY 46,800 or $425(31,500 INR). The device comes in Black, White, Pink, and Blue color variants, however, the latter two color variants are exclusives to the Rakuten carrier.
The smartphone will be available for purchase from the 27th of August in Japan.
The smartphone has a lot of similarities to the original Xperia III. It sports a 6″ OLED display with an FHD+ resolution.
It has an aspect ratio of 21:9 and supports HDR. Upfront, it has an 8MP telephoto lens, and lastly an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor.
The device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 690 SoC. The major difference between the Lite model and the original Xperia 10 III is the storage, the Lite is limited to 64GB of onboard storage and has 6GB of RAM. It packs a 4,500mAh battery along with support for 30W fast charging technology. The device also comes with IP68 dust and water-resistance rating along with eSIM functionality.
