Sony, the Japanese MNC, is set to host an event on April 14th where they are expected to launch a bunch of devices. This list will also consist of Sony Xperia 1 III smartphone. Apart from this flagship device, we might see two more devices making their debut. Sony Xperia 1 III is expected to flaunt a 6.5-inch 4K HDR OLED screen and should arrive with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. It will offer a 10bit colour depth and a peak brightness of 1300 nits as well.

In terms of optics, Sony Xperia 1 III is expected to house a triple-camera system with a 64-megapixel main wide-angle lens, a 12-megapixel ultrawide sensor, and a 12-megapixel periscope telephoto lens with 60x lossless zoom. Also, Sony’s Cyber-Shot optimizations could be present with the periscope lens. Not much known is about the front snapper of the device but the people would hope for a strong lens at the front as well.

The smartphone is expected to be fueled up with a 5,000mAh battery and it may come with support for 65W fast charging. Though, these specifications and features are just leaks and we still don’t have the official word from Sony. Just a few more days and we will have the official launch in front of us. The price of the device could be around 8,999 Yuan (~$1,370).
