Somebody I Used to Know: Amazon Prime Video Unveils the Release date of the Rom-Com Film

Amazon Prime Video has dropped a new trailer of the romantic comedy film for this Valentine’s Day along with ‘Somebody I Used to Know’. The show has been directed by Dave Franco and is set to premiere on Prime Video Friday, 10th February 2023. The film has exposed a new trailer and poster for the latest film. 

The story of the new film revolves around Alison Brie as Ally. The story is about a workaholic TV producer who returns to her hometown after getting into trouble in her professional life. In this film, she reunited with Jay Ellis as Sean. She has known as her first love and ex. There are the two who are still friends, it has been exposed that Sean has set on getting married to Kiersey Clemons as Cassidy. It seems that things have led to Ally questioning her placement in Sean’s life and her choices in the past.

The brand new two-minute and nine-second trailer unveil Ally and Sean as the pair have a day out after running into each other at a local bar.  Now, it seems like an old flame might be reignited, on a visit back to Sean’s house and a family dinner reveals the engagement to Cassidy. 

Ally tries to figure out how to deal with her feelings for Sean, the trailer shows her starting to bond with Cassidy, even commenting on how she reminds herself of herself when she was younger. While the two bond, there is a clear uneasiness in Ally as she attempts to wrestle with her own feelings and let go.

Somebody I Used had been directed by Franco as well as co-written by him and Brie. This film has been marked as the fourth collaboration between Franco and Brie with previous projects being The Rental, The Disaster Artist, and The Little Hours. Additionally, we will see Brie, Ellis, and Clemons, the film stars an all-star ensemble cast that includes. Haley Joel Osment, Danny Pudi, and Julie Hagerty. 

Somebody I Used to Know: Release Date 

‘Somebody I Used to Know’ has set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on 10th February 2023.
