The Solidarity Cup will be held in South Africa. It will be the first cricketing action in the country since Coronavirus broke out in March.
The Solidarity Cup will be the showcase event for the new cricket format ‘3 Team Cricket‘. This match will see 24 South African cricketers in three teams, playing two halves in one match.
The three teams competing in the Solidarity Cup are:
- Takealot Eagles captained by AB de Villiers
- OUTsurance Kingfishers captained by Heinrich Klaasen
- Mr D Food Kites captained by Quinton de Kock
When is the Solidarity Cup?
The match will be held on Saturday, 18th July 2020.
When will the ‘3 Team Cricket’ match start?
The match will begin at 2:30 pm IST. The pre-match show will start from 2 pm IST.
