Manchester United have reached an agreement with Fiorentina for the signing of Sofyan Amrabat on a loan deal. The player only wanted to sign for the Red Devils, in spite of interest from Fulham. And now, he has his move with the medical also complete for the transfer.
The Premier League club will pay a €10 million loan fee for the midfielder and the move will include a buy option valued at €20 million plus €5 million available in add-ons. The transfer has been rumoured for the entirety of the summer and is finally completed on deadline day.

After impressing in the 2022 Qatar World Cup with Morocco, Amrabat became one of the most coveted midfielders across Europe. Barcelona were interested in signing the player this summer, but did not make a formal offer for him. They instead signed Oriol Romeu and Ilkay Gundogan.
Amrabat joins Andre Onana, Mason Mount and Rasmus Hojlund as the new players to sign for Manchester United this summer. His presence in midfield will provide cover and allow Erik Ten Hag to rotate the squad and challenge on all fronts.
Sofyan Amrabat did not train with Fiorentina for the first part of the season since he had his sights set on a transfer. And now, he finally has his dream move to Old Trafford.
