Manchester United have confirmed Snapdragon as their new front-of-shirt sponsor from the 2024/25 season. They signed a five-year deal with TeamViewer in 2021 but retained a buyback clause, which has seemingly been activated by the club.

The valuation of the agreement has not been revealed, but United will reportedly receive around £60 million from their new sponsors. The club did confirm the length of the contract either, which might be as long as three years.

Snapdragon is part of Qualcomm Technologies, which is already a global partner of United. Its processors are used in products such as smartphones and gaming devices.

And now, the two parties will expand their partnership from the end of this season. The club already announced a £900 million deal with Adidas for ten years this summer, which will not include TeamViewer from the coming season.

Manchester United were recently taken off the market, after the Glazers decided that they would not sell the club. In spite of interest from QIB chairman Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani and Britain’s richest man Jim Ratcliffe, the club will continue to be owned by the Glazers for the foreseeable future.
