Arun Vijay’s upcoming film ‘Sinam‘ got an official Netflix trailer. The last film ‘Yanai’ is unable to make an ark in the mid of the audience. Under GNR’s direction, the film has pushed the release date due to some personal reasons. After the delay, the film was released on 16th September 2022.
Sinam was introduced as a power-packed revenge drama along with Arun Vijay playing the role of a rough police officer. The team from Netflix took to YouTube to share the trailer with a message that read, “We’ve seen edge-of-the-seat thrillers, but this was an edge-of-the-seat trailer! Sinam is now streaming on Netflix!”
Sinam: Plot
The story of Sinam revolves around Inspector Paari Venkat, who lives a happy life with his wife and daughter. His life is simple and sweet without any troubles, until one unfortunate date when she goes missing. The investigation begins when he finds out that she was raped and killed. This shatters him, and his life now changes with the only motive to find the culprits and seek justice for this crime.
The film’s story received a positive response from both critics and the audience. Audiences appreciated the moments created by the makers and gave depth to the investigative sequences. However, the complaints are based on the film’s writing which could’ve been more engaging. On considering the plot of the film, Sinam did come across as a good thriller worth watching which keeps the audience engaged within its limits.
Actor Arun Vijay has been appreciated for his choice of films. Previously, He was seen in Yaanai and Oh My Dog, which was released at the beginning of this year. His work in the 2016 film Yennai Arindhaal was felicitated with several nominations and awards. His next release after Sinam will be a spy-thriller Border where he will be seen playing Aravind Chandrashekar, a part of the defense intelligence agency.

Directed by G. N. R. Kumaravelan, Sinam features popular names such as Arun Vijay and Palak Lalwani in the lead roles. The story has been penned by R. Saravanan. R. Vijayakumar under the Movie Slides banner is responsible for producing the film. The cinematography has been done by S. Gopinath, and the editing is done by Raja Mohammad. Shabir composed the music and score. The title of the film was announced on 6 November 2019.
