Sill Cats x Tiny Pasture: The Steam Bundle Every Desktop Pet Lover Needs

Some desktops need spreadsheets. Others need cats wandering across the screen while you work. If you’re the second kind of person, Steam just made your life a little cuter — and a little cheaper.

On August 5, 2026, SQOOL announced a new Steam bundle pairing its desktop mascot app Sill Cats with Tiny Pasture, the idle animal-raising app from CaveLiquid, published by Gamersky Games. Two apps, one shared obsession: watching adorable creatures roam your screen while you actually get work done.

Sill Cats x Tiny Pasture: Bundle Details

What Is Sill Cats?

Sill Cats is a desktop-resident mascot app where animated cats casually wander across your PC desktop while you work. It’s less a game and more a small companion feature — the digital equivalent of having a cat sprawled near your keyboard, minus the fur on your desk. The base app is free to download, with additional content like “Cat Pack 3” available for purchase to expand the roster of feline visitors.

What Is Tiny Pasture?

Tiny Pasture takes a similar idle-app approach but leans into a different kind of charm. Instead of cats freely roaming, it lets users raise a variety of small, cute animals that live along the bottom edge of the screen. It’s a slower, more nurturing experience — think digital pet care meets ambient desktop decoration, perfect for anyone who wants a quiet companion during long work sessions.

Why This Bundle Makes Sense

Both apps share the same core appeal: turning your desktop into a small, low-effort source of comfort while you work. Rather than demanding attention like a traditional game, they exist quietly in the background, offering something to glance at between tasks. Given how closely the two concepts overlap, pairing them into a single discounted bundle is a natural move — letting fans of one easily discover the other without paying full price for both.

Why Desktop Pets Are Having a Moment

Apps like Sill Cats and Tiny Pasture tap into a growing appetite for low-stakes, screen-based companionship — a modern echo of earlier desktop pet trends like Neko, the classic cursor-chasing cat program that popularized the idea decades ago. In an era of constant multitasking, these gentle, ambient apps offer a small dose of comfort without demanding real attention, which likely explains why bundles like this one continue to find an audience.

For anyone who’s ever wished their workspace felt a little less sterile, this bundle offers an easy, affordable way to add some life (quite literally) to your screen.
