Shamshera, the upcoming movie’s teaser is now out. Recently, Dharma Productions has released the much-awaited trailer of the movie Brahmastra, a fantasy epic. This is Ranbir Kapoor’s first film this year, he is marking this year as a comeback year for him.
On Wednesday, Yash Raj Films revealed the first teaser of the upcoming movie named Shamshera. It is a period drama, after 2018’s Sanju, Shamshera is going to be his first film. The trailer of the movie is also going to be released in two days.
Yash Raj Films has tweeted on Twitter, by saying that “A legend who will leave his mark. #ShamsheraTrailer out on 24th June. Experience SHAMSHERA in @IMAX in Hindi, Tamil & Telugu. Celebrate #Shamshera with #YRF50 only at a theatre near you on 22nd July.”
Shamshera: Teaser
The teaser was released on Wednesday i.e., on 22nd June. It is a minute-and-a-half long teaser. The teaser started with a view that reminds us of Mad Max: Fury Road, and the villainous Immortan Joe’s treatment of his subjects. In the movie, the role of antagonist, whose arrival was made with an announcemnet full of some maniacal laughter is being played by Sanjay Dutt. Recently, meanwhile Sanjay Dutt was also seen in the role of villain in the blockbuster film named KGF: Chapter 2, he was also been a part of Samrat Prithviraj.
The teaser has not revealed much about the plot, but atleast it has given us a sense about what is about it. The story is about a dacoit who lead his tribe in a revolt against Sanjay Dutt’s tribe. The movie is projected in such a way that it looks like messiah-like figure. In the teaser, we have seen that the characters are leading the charge across vast deserts, and wielding a pickaxe against adversaries. It seems that this film is going to be a mix of old-fashioned Western and 70s action epic.

Release Date
The movie Shamshera is a big budget film, whose budget is 150 crore. So, Yash Raj Films are little bit tensed right now after a big budget failure in the movies named Samrat Prithviraj, and Jayeshbhai Jordaar.
The movie is going to be released in the IMAX format on 22nd July. It is going to be released as a pan-India based and also in different languages such as Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada.
