The popular 80’s superhero Shaktimaan has set to come with his new film. The Indian kids know him well. Now he is set to make his debut on the big screen. Sony Pictures India also has been declared this on Thursday. It seems that the fans also will be treated just like a trilogy and it is based on Indian Superhero Shaktimaan.
We all know that the main Shaktimaan TV series also has been aired for eight years on DD National, and Sony Pictures India now also has been collaborated with the original producer Mukesh Khanna’s Bheeshm International and set to enlarge the thoughts of the upcoming films. It seems that Khanna is portraying the role of Shaktimaan in the main series.
Shaktimaan: Plot
It seems that the new video reveals with a meteor of the universe like hit the Earth. It continues with a dark shadow just covering the world and then there is red lightning that indicates the returning of the superhero It also shows a flying camera and glasses which had been the signatures accessories of the superhero’s alter ego journalist Gangadhar Shastri.
It has been followed by the emblem onto the chest of the superhero. Now, this video also goes on to provide a better look at the costume of Shaktimaan. In this show, we will see Mukesh Khanna play the double role of alternate personality Pandit Gangadhar Vidhyadhar Maydhar Omkranath Shastri.
The Indian Superhero is a pure soul who has supernatural powers to protect the earth. The superhero will fight with such villains. In the time of 1997, it has a popular villain named Kilvish who was played by the actor Surendra Pal.
Shaktimaan: Teaser Updates
It seems that the teaser for the Shaktimaan film was shared on the Sony Pictures on the YouTube Channel on Thursday. It seems that the official description of the teaser video reveals that the studio is just looking to “recreate the magic of the iconic superhero” and the film also has been headlined by one of the popular superstars.
Now Sony Pictures India also has been exposed that it will also just work with the producer of such a main TV series. The new series also ends by showing the iconic costume of Shaktimaan.
The latest video also captioned “ After the super success of our many superhero films in India and all over the globe, and it is the time for our desi superhero!” it also contain a follow-up tweet as the studio wrote, ” We are excited to join hands with Brewing Thoughts Private Limited, and Mukesh Khanna’s Bheeshm International. Shaktimaan: Cast
The film analyst Taran Adarsh reveals this project will feature one of the lead roles and it also will be directed a ‘top name’.
The old TV series featured Mukesh Khanna, Vaishnavi, Tom Alter, Kitu Gidwani, Lalit Parimoo, Richa Panai, Radha Krishna Dutt, and Gulfi Paintal. Now we have to wait to see the cast updates of the film. Mukesh Khanna is confirmed in the lead role. The sets of the casts are yet to be confirmed. The chemistry of Mukesh Khanna and Vaishnavi was seriously amazing.
It seems that it had been conceptualized by Mukesh Khanna in the early 80s. On speaking to Screen Magazine in 1997, the actor had said, “In Indian mythology, there are also a lot of strong characters but no super-heroes. There are also we have got to see out Superman or Spiderman, who are alien concepts. That’s why I decided to create an Indian superhero, Shaktimaan who was also born out of a yagna, and a result of all the creative energies of the universe.”
In 2020, the actor had confirmed that a film trilogy is going to be made on the character, promising that it would be “bigger than Ra. One and Krrish”.
It seems that there is not currently any word on who will going to direct the films or the actors who also star. It seems that the Original Shaktimaan TV show will be aired in Hindi and it just ran over right years since its debut in 1997 and it also has been made a large fan base over the years mainly among the young viewers.
Shaktimaan: Release Date
Sony Pictures has not confirmed any official release date of the film but it will release soon.
