Former Real Madrid captain, Sergio Ramos, who joined PSG this summer, hasn’t been able to make his debut for the French club yet. The World Cup winning Spanish defender was injured for the majority of the last season which continued till this season.
However, Ramos is now set to make his PSG debut in the UCL this Wednesday. PSG travelled to Manchester to face City. Ramos has been named in the PSG squad for the first time, which could mean his PSG debut is nearing.
Here’s the official PSG squad list for the Manchester City UCL match which includes Sergio Ramos
According to PSG coach Mauricio Pochettino, whether Ramos will feature at the Etihad Stadium is still uncertain but it is likely.
He said in the pre-match press conference, via Marca: “I don’t know. It is important to see his progress.”
“One thing is to be able to train and it’s another to be at the level to be competitive, it is not the same.”
Seeing Messi and Ramos in the same team would be a different feeling for all the football fans. But it seems the time has come to see two of the best footballers as teammates on the football pitch.
