Sergej Milinkovic-Savic price tag raised to €120m

Sergej Milinkovic-Savic has been the subject of intense transfer speculation for the last few windows. However, despite the likes of Manchester United and Chelsea inquiring about the midfielder, he has stayed put at Lazio.

This season, he has had a lot of goal contributions, with four goals and seven assists in 12 games across all competitions. And as a result, he is showing exactly why he is so highly valued by the Italian side.

Sergej Milinkovic-Savic is still not for transfer

Recent rumours suggested that a transfer to Juventus could be on the cards for the 27-year-old. However, they have been denied by the club president.

“I’ve no agreement with his agent to sell Sergej to Juventus or any other club in January”, Lazio president Claudio Lotito said.

“Price tag for Milinković is no longer €100m — his value is €120m now”.

Lotito insisted that the price for Sergej Milinkovic-Savic is rising with every month. And the amount that was once €70 million is now being quoted in nine digits. The player has been linking up very well with Lazio striker Ciro Immobile, who also praised his teammate.

“Trust me, Sergej Milinković-Savić is magic. He’s on the same level of Kevin de Bruyne”, Immobile said about Milinkovic-Savic.

Lazio are currently third in the league table, following an impressive start to the season. And the contribution from their top players has been essential to the good run of results.
