Sennheiser: Tullamore is a place that holds a special significance for audiophiles and music enthusiasts

Since 1991, the Sennheiser Tullamore plant has been a hub for groundbreaking advancements in the world of audio enthusiasts. It has served as the primary facility for producing the transducers utilized in various top-of-the-line audiophile products from the brand. Additionally, for more than twenty years, the highly acclaimed HD 600 series headphones have been manufactured in this very plant. In an unprecedented move within the headphone industry, the Sennheiser brand made the strategic decision in 2022 to combine the manufacturing of transducers and the assembly of headsets under one roof in Tullamore. This not only ensures better compatibility of transducers but also elevates the overall quality and innovative features that Sennheiser customers have come to appreciate.

Vijay Sharma, the General Manager of Sennheiser Consumer business in India, emphasizes that assembling audiophile equipment is a complex task that demands both time and meticulous attention to detail, along with a strong sense of passion and human interaction. This unique experience can now be enjoyed by visitors from all corners of the world in Tullamore, and the dedicated team takes great pride in showcasing their expertise to future guests.

Sennheiser, a well-respected brand in the world of audiophile headphones, has been diligently getting ready to provide visitors with an opportunity to immerse themselves in the enchanting and deeply passionate craftsmanship behind their products. As part of this preparation, they have organized a guided experience that aims to showcase the magic and dedication that goes into creating their headphones.

During the tour, participants will not only observe the process of assembling transducers and headphones, but they will also have the opportunity to personally build their own devices. Throughout the hands-on experience, they will receive valuable knowledge and insights from important individuals within the Tullamore team. Additionally, the tour includes a close examination of the renowned HE 1 assembly and engaging listening sessions in the factory’s dedicated hi-fi room.

Embark on a voyage to the upcoming era of audio.

In order to provide a customized and personalized experience in a vibrant and interactive production environment, tours of the Audiophile Experience Center are currently limited to invitation-only. More information will be shared through Sennheiser’s social media channels later in 2023.
