Gaming Meets Pop Culture
The Royal Challenge Zone: Each Comic Con will feature an extensive VR Cricket experience, interactive gaming booths, creator meet-and-greets, and digital content stations. These activations align with the brand’s “Hydrate the Bold” mission, positioning hydration as essential for gaming performance and focus.
Sc0ut’s Multi-City Tour: As one of India’s most influential gaming personalities, Tanmay ‘Sc0ut’ Singh will headline all three editions. Fans can expect live challenges, personal interactions, and insights into India’s growing esports landscape.
“Comic Con is the perfect space to engage with the new generation of gamers and creators,” said Sc0ut. “I’m excited to collaborate with Royal Challenge because it reflects how gaming has become part of everyday youth culture.”
Why This Partnership Matters
India’s Gaming Boom: According to the FICCI-EY Media and Entertainment Industry Report 2025, India’s gaming audience has crossed 500 million users, with brand investments in esports rising steadily.
Cultural Shift: Varun Koorichh, Vice President – Marketing at Diageo India, emphasized: “Gaming is no longer a fringe hobby. It shapes how young India interacts, competes, and builds identity. Our presence reflects our commitment to sport in all its forms.”
Beyond Gaming
This activation extends Royal Challenge’s recent ‘Main Nahi Toh Kaun Be’ campaign and anthem, which champions individuality and self-belief. The on-ground experiences feature creator-led challenges and gaming-inspired contests that merge entertainment, sport, and community.
With Comic Con India expanding to Guwahati and Jaipur for the first time, the platform continues bringing together fans from comics, gaming, entertainment, and pop culture. Royal Challenge’s partnership adds a strong gaming dimension, ensuring visitors engage with the community in innovative ways.
For esports enthusiasts and gaming fans, this multi-city activation represents a significant milestone in India’s gaming culture evolution.
