Hyderabad FC dominated possession, and had 59% of the ball during the game. They put in 21 crosses and registered six shots on target in the 90 minutes. However, they were unable to beat Arindam Bhattacharja more than once, with the keeper making five saves to keep his side in the game.
Finally some resolute defending
East Bengal did enough to survive and salvage a point against a team that is challenging for the title. The saves from Arindam Bhattacharja were instrumental in doing so.
