It’s an honor to receive a Padma Bhushan Award and to be recognized with so many extraordinary people. I’m thankful to the President, Prime Minister, and people of India, and look forward to continuing to work with people across India to help them use technology to achieve more.

He promised to continue his work and Microsoft’s vision to help people to use technology to achieve more. No doubt as a person from Hyderabad, India, Nadella deserves to receive the third-highest civilian award in India with due credit for leading one of the biggest technology companies in the world.

Nadella’s work at Microsoft, included leading Microsoft to cloud computing and turning them one of the largest cloud infrastructures in the world while also acquiring new companies to add to its portfolio has worked pretty well for the company.
