Former Barcelona president Sando Rosell has spoken about Neymar and also revealed why Barca captain Lionel Messi wants Neymar back at the Camp Nou so that he can “win it all.” This suggests the dream of Messi winning every title while being captain at the club and his “dream” of winning back the Champions League.
The 56-year-old has talked to Mundo Deportivo about the transfer speculation surrounding the Brazilian and he said he would try to bring Neymar back to the club once again.
Not to forget, Rosell was in charge of Barcelona when they signed Neymar from Santos back in 2013 and tells about his thoughts that why Messi wants the 28-year-old back in the team playing for the Blaugranas.
“Messi, who is the best player in football history and very smart, wants the other best players in the world by his side to win it all.”
Rosell still considers Neymar as one of the great footballers of the decade despite of the fact that since he left Barcelona for Paris Saint Germain his football value has drastically decreased. He also reckons the fact that the years when Messi, Saurez and Neymar played often termed as the ‘MSN’ trio were some glorious times for Barca.
The 28-year old Brazilian still has great relation with Saurez and Messi off the pitch as they had on the pitch at the Camp Nou. Since his departure he genuinely wanted a return back at the club but having afforded is a difficult task, last year Barcelona tried a lot but they couldn’t manage to sign him.
This year also they are trying to bring Neymar back but his aksing price of 170 million euros is giving the club some trouble due to the financial crisis due to the Coronavirus pandemic that has halted football for almost a month now.
Some reports say Barca will bring back Neymar at all costs while some say they’ll being Lautaro and focus on renewing Messi’s contract. Only time will tell if Neymar finds a way back at the Camp Nou.
