Samsung targets the Chinese gaming market with its new QX2 Ultra-thin Gaming TV

Samsung, the leading tech giant, based in South Korea, is looking to expand itself in different markets. According to sources, the tech giant has launched a new gaming smart TV dubbed Samsung QX2 Ultra-thin Gaming TV in China. Since the Asian country is one of the world’s top markets for gaming products, it is worth noting that the South Korean tech giant is targeting the world’s biggest market.

The Samsung QX2 ultra-thin gaming TV has passed different professional game display certifications and comes equipped with HDMI 2.1 interface. The gaming display also arrives with support for a 120Hz refresh rate, which is a good thing to have in a high-end gaming display.

According to sources, the QX2 ultra-thin gaming TV can achieve at least 120Hz at the lowest full HD resolution thanks to its AMD FreeSync Premium certification. The gaming TV also supports low frame rate compensation and 5.8ms low latency.

The new gaming smart TV also comes with HDR10+ technology to adjust the relevant color and brightness information at any time according to the real-time scene. This makes the details of the bright area, and darkfield are richer, achieving better display effects.

Having a 27mm ultra-thin body build, the new smart TV also comes with a 20W power audio system and comes integrated with Bixby AI voice control with support for 16 dialects. Having an aspect ratio, which can be adjusted to a 21:9 aspect ratio and a 32:9 ratio, thanks to its quantum dot 4K processor that supports ultra-wide game viewing angles.

The gaming TV is priced at 6,999 yuan (~$1,069) for the 55-inch model, while the 65-inch model goes for 8,999 yuan (~$1,374), and the 75-inch model is priced at 14,999 yuan (~$2,290). It’s available for pre-sale on Jingdong (JD.com) in China and will go on sale on April 14.
