Samsung reports of the sales of its Flip phones going Quadrupled in 2021

More people have purchased the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Galaxy Z Fold 3 than the Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy S21. Samsung confirmed this entertaining fact earlier today, but there’s more to say about the latest foldable gadgets’ success story.

Samsung claims to have shipped four times as many foldable phones this year as it did in 2020, outperforming analyst predictions. Industry analysts predicted a three-fold increase in Samsung’s foldable phone sales, but they appear to have overestimated customer interest in the technology and the impact of the new-generation folding phones. The Galaxy Z Flip 3 alone, according to prior estimates, accounted for about 60% of all foldable phone shipments in Q3.

Due to production constraints and the fact that the technology was still new and unproven, Samsung only produced a small number of the first Galaxy foldable phones. But that time has passed, and both the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and the Galaxy Z Fold 3 have been well-prepared for the general consumer market.

Not only have these new foldable phones been built in far bigger quantities, but they also include enticing features like water resistance – the first and only folding smartphone to do so. The S Pen is supported for the first time on a foldable device with the Galaxy Z Fold 3. The Galaxy Z Flip 3 is now more personalized than ever, at least in the United States, owing to the introduction of the Bespoke Edition, which comes in a whopping 49 color options.

Thanks to the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3, many new Samsung consumers are joining the company’s ecosystem for the first time. And on this occasion, we extend a warm welcome to all, and we wish you a wonderful time.
