Samsung launches its new Odyssey Neo G7 43-inch 4K Mini-LED Gaming monitor in Korea

Samsung has just unveiled a number of high-end gaming monitors called the Samsung Odyssey in the global market. Whether it’s the Odyssey Ark 55-inch 4K display in India or the Deagon Knight G7 32-inch monitor in China, which will soon be available in the global market as an Odyssey G7 series monitor.

In its home market of South Korea, the brand has introduced a new high-end 43-inch gaming monitor named the Samsung Odyssey Neo G7 (G70NC). There is now only a release date for Korea, which is January 2; however, there are plans to introduce the new 43-inch Samsung Odyssey Neo G7 gaming monitor at CES 2023 before moving through with a larger worldwide launch, including the North American market.

The Samsung Odyssey Neo G7 (G70NC) costs 1.25 million won (US$982) in Korea, although prices in the United States and Europe are projected to be higher when the monitor is released in these areas.

In terms of specifications and characteristics, the monitor has a Quantum Mini-LED display with a resolution of 3,840 x 2,160, a 16:9 aspect ratio, a refresh rate of 144 Hz, and a response time of 1 ms. The Samsung Odyssey Neo G7 also has VESA-certified DisplayHDR 600 capabilities and a high contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1.

For connectivity, the Odyssey Neo G7 monitor offers two HDMI 2.1 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4 port, and two USB 3.0 ports. The device comes with 20 W stereo speakers.

For more smooth gameplay, the monitor’s built-in Samsung Gaming Hub streaming utility supports AMD’s FreeSync Premium Pro software. The 43-inch Samsung Odyssey Neo G7 gaming monitor may also be used for a range of applications (such as Netflix) without a connected PC or TV thanks to OTT connectivity.
