According to a recent report, the South Korean giant is now planning to introduce a rollable smartphone. The first company to bring this kind of rollable phone to the market is Oppo as they are looking to launch Oppo X 2021.
The reliable tipster @cozyplanes has shared a post through his Twitter account, which reveals that Samsung is planning to launch ‘Scrollable’ or ‘Rollable’ phones soon. Recently, TCL has already shared a concept of a Scrollable device, and a few months ago it demoed a concept rollable device.
Apart from Samsung or Oppo, LG is going to launch a rollable device in the first half of 2021. It is expected that Samsung will unveil the rollable smartphone in 2022.
In terms of Samsung, everything is all about foldable smartphones. The company is set to launch the Galaxy Z Fold 3 in June 2021 and this will come with an S-pen stylus. Apart from it, the S21 series is also in the queue to be launched in 2021 and the most interesting part is that the Galaxy S21 Ultra will come with an S-pen stylus. Recently the company has also confirmed that they are going to discontinue its Galaxy Note series.
