Finally, Samsung has announced the price of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 for the Indian market. The South Korean tech giant also added that the new foldable phone will be available for pre-orders starting September 14 at 12 PM (noon). This phone has already been unveiled during the Galaxy Unpacked 2020 Part 2 virtual event earlier this month. But the Samsung has not shared any information about the Indian pricing of that phone. The company has also made an announcement of some offers for those who pre-order the phone.
According to some official reports from Samsung, the Indian pricing of the Galaxy Z Fold 2 will be Rs. 1,49,999 and will be up for pre-orders starting 12 PM (noon) on September 14. This phone will come to the market in two different color variants: Mystic Black and Mystic Bronze.
The customers who are willing to buy this phone, can easily pre-order this with no-cost EMI for 12 months at Samsung Experience Store and Samsung.com. Not only this but also they can enjoy free YouTube Premium membership for 4 months and Microsoft office 365 at a discount of 22 percent. If we check the pricing of this phone, in the US it costs around $1,999 (roughly Rs. 1.47 lakh).
Let’s check out some quick specifications of this flip phone. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 runs on Android 10 OS with One UI 2.5 and is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ SoC, coupled with 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM. Regarding the display, this phone features a 7.6-inch full-HD+ (1,768×2,208 pixels) foldable, Dynamic AMOLED Infinity-O Display with a 120Hz refresh rate. This is not the end.
