More About Samsung Galaxy Unpacked Event

SamMobile claims it was informed by “two people who cannot be named” that Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event is set to take place in Paris on July 10, two weeks before the 2024 Summer Olympics. Typically, Samsung reveals its new Galaxy Z series phones in the United States. However, in 2023, the company delayed Seoul, South Korea, instead.

This year, Samsung may also release three foldable phones for the first time, as opposed to the usual two models. The clamshell-style Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 will be accompanied by two book-style Galaxy Z Folds. The Galaxy Z Fold 6 will supposedly be joined by an ‘Ultra’ model with hardware enhancements and a hefty price tag. In some countries, the latter could be in limited supply. Finally, Samsung will share more details on the Galaxy Ring, its inaugural miniature wearable with health monitoring, having been previewed at the first Galaxy Unpacked. At MWC 2024, the Ring’s design was presented last month.

Rumors also suggest that other devices in development, such as the Galaxy Watch 7 series and the Galaxy Tab S10 lineup, could be unveiled at the event. Moreover, Samsung has reportedly been developing an extended reality (XR) headset called the Samsung Galaxy XR, potentially positioning it as a competitor to the Apple Vision Pro mixed reality headset, which might also make its debut at the event.
