Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S23 series in February of this year, and now there are reports indicating that the South Korean tech giant is already in the early stages of developing its successor, the Galaxy S24 series, which is anticipated to launch in the early part of next year. This upcoming lineup is expected to include the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra models. Over time, numerous leaks and rumors have surfaced regarding these smartphones, offering insights into their potential specifications and design.
Leaked Specifications of Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra
The high-end variant of Samsung’s next flagship series appears to feature a design reminiscent of its predecessor, the Galaxy S23 Ultra. According to the renders, the Galaxy S24 Ultra is depicted with a quad-camera setup, and it retains a dedicated holster for the Stylus pen, consistent with its forerunner.
Previous reports have already indicated that the Galaxy S24 Ultra may come with a 6.8-inch display. The recent renders further suggest that this model is expected to have the slimmest bezels seen on any smartphone, achieved through a substantial reduction in bezel size. The display is said to boast a WQHD+ resolution. Additionally, the Galaxy S24 Ultra could incorporate an ultra-wideband antenna on the right edge.
The reported dimensions for the upcoming smartphone are approximately 162.3 x 79 x 8.7mm, with an estimated weight of around 23g. Similar to Apple’s iPhone 15 series, the Galaxy S24 Ultra is rumored to feature a titanium build, resulting in a lighter smartphone compared to previous iterations. In terms of battery, it is anticipated to house a 5,000mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging.
Finally, the report suggests that the Galaxy S24 Ultra might be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and feature a 200-megapixel primary rear camera. For selfies, the phone could incorporate a 12-megapixel front camera. It’s important to note that Samsung has not yet officially announced this upcoming series.
