Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra: An Incremental Camera Upgrade

Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra Camera Specs Leaked

Samsung unveiled a major enhancement to the primary camera of its latest flagship, the Galaxy S23 Ultra, signalling a significant leap in camera technology. Additionally, the selfie camera received an upgrade, boasting a higher resolution. However, it seems that Samsung won’t be pushing the boundaries of camera innovation further with its next-generation flagship, the Galaxy S24 Ultra.

The Camera Leaks of Upcoming Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra!

According to a report, the Galaxy S24 Ultra will retain the same 200MP ISOCELL HP2 camera sensor as its predecessor for the primary camera. Likewise, the telephoto camera will continue to utilize the 12MP Sony IMX754 sensor with 3x optical zoom, and the ultrawide camera will feature the 12MP Sony IMX564 sensor. The sole improvement in the camera department will be seen in the telephoto camera, which will now offer 10x optical zoom. Samsung plans to employ a slightly upgraded 12MP Sony IMX754+ sensor to achieve this extended zoom range.

Considering this information, it appears that the Galaxy S24 Ultra might only offer marginal enhancements in its 10x zoom capabilities. Other improvements in camera quality are anticipated to be primarily achieved through software and processing advancements. No details have been disclosed regarding the camera specifications of the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+ models. However, if the Galaxy S24 Ultra lacks significant camera improvements, it is plausible that the other two models in the lineup will follow suit.

It is expected that Samsung will equip the Galaxy S24 series with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor for markets in Asia and North America. In Europe, the company might opt for the Exynos 2400 variants of the phones. Both of these chips are projected to incorporate ARM’s latest CPU cores. Notably, the Exynos 2400 is anticipated to deliver four times the GPU performance of its predecessor, the Exynos 2200. Further information regarding these specifications is anticipated to be unveiled by the end of the current year.
