As we expect when the new Samsung S23 series is launched that its predecessor, the S22 series will be discounted, well partially true. Why? Because not every S22 phone has been permanently discounted, while the S22+ has been discontinued but the older S22 Ultra is still being offered at older flagship pricing, strange though.
Samsung Galaxy S22 gets cheaper!
Spotted by GSMArena, the base Samsung Galaxy S22 smartphone only has been discounted and now it has a starting price of ₹57,999 for an 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. On the other hand, the 256GB storage variant will cost you ₹61,999, previously the base variant would cost ₹72,999 and the latter used to cost ₹76,999.
While the new S23 series has new colors, chipsets and 4 years of software updates, however, the old Galaxy S22 could also be a good option if you can get it at cheap prices. Amazon India, on the other hand, Galaxy S22 is on sale for ₹52,999 and for that price you get the same 120Hz Dynamic AMOLED 2X display which remains the same in the S23 series as well.
