The Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra will be launching pretty soon, and as we wait for the devices, we are faced with leaks and rumours. We have already heard about the main camera assembly of this next-gen flagship. According to various rumours, the devices will feature two telephoto lenses.
But now, finally, the technical details about the product is released, and it is allegedly something that should worry about rivals like Apple and Google. The alleged leaker who goes by the name of Ice universe revealed the following details regarding the two telephoto cameras of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra. In his tweet, he highlighted that the camera would be “the strongest optical zoom system known,”.
The features of the camera are:
- 3X 1/2.8″ 10MP 1.22μm dual-pixel phase-detection autofocus
- 10X 1/2.8″ 10MP 1.22μm dual-pixel phase-detection autofocus
Currently, Huawei has the most potent optical zoom setup in the market. Its Huawei P40 Pro Plus has 50 MP + 8 MP (3x) + 8 MP (10x) + 40 MP, which is followed closely by Vivo X30 Pro that has an 64 MP + 13 MP (5x) + 32 MP (2x) + 8 MP setup. Apple, on the other hand, is currently placed third with its Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max that has 5x optical zoom range, with 2.5x optical zoom in and 2x optical zoom out.
The leaker also stated that the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra would also feature laser autofocus, dual-video recording with 4K 60 fps video for all cameras along with 8K 30fps of video recording supported by the main camera.
The camera specs of the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultralooks really juicy, but all of it will be in vain if the processor accompanying the device fails to perform well concerning the competition. As to how the new device from Samsung will turn out remains to be seen.
