Last year, the Korean electronics giant Samsung introduced Fan Edition of the flagship Galaxy S20 series smartphone. The Galaxy S20 FE was a cheaper version of the standard model, having some minor changes. At the launch event, Samsung promised us to release Fan Editions of its flagship S series smartphones every year. Currently, it seems the company is working on it.
The Galaxy S21 series smartphones are already hit the global market featuring Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 or Exynos 2100 processor. Based on the model designs, a media platform LetsGoDigital releases some render images of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S21 FE.
As per the platform released renders, the camera bump of the FE variant will be separated from the main body and will be left as normal. The use of colorful back covers made up of plastic is expected.
It further assumed that Samsung will put a 6.5-inch display, other than 6.2-inch like the S21 or 6.7-inch like the S21+, having a 120Hz refresh rate. Unfortunately, the panel will miss HDR support. In the case of processor, the same processors will be assigned, however, RAM size will be reduced to 6GB and internal memory capacity options will be 128GB and 256GB.
The arrival of the Galaxy S21 FE is confirmed as Samsung promised us last year. It must be seen that how much similarity there will in the actual Galaxy S21 FE. If we go with LetsGoDigital, the launch should be scheduled at any one time in the second half of 2021.
