Samsung will launch the Galaxy Note 20 series and the 5G version of the Z Flip soon and so we are here with the name of both the smartphones in the latest 3C certification website of China. The website reveals that the charging speed of Note 20 series will not be upgraded from its successors. The charging speed of the Z Flip is also mentioned in the certification.

Samsung Galaxy Note 20 (SM-G981) can be seen with 25W charger (USB Power Delivery PPS) in the certification which is borrowed from the Note 10. This means that the maximum charging speed of the vanilla version Note 20 will be 25W with the charging adapter available in the box. This year the gap in battery capacity between vanilla and plus models will be smaller – 4,300mAh and 4,500mAh for the Note20 and Note20+, respectively, compared to 3,500mAh and 4,300mAh for the Note10 and Note10+.

Samsung Galaxy Note20 (SM-G981)‘s 3C certification

There is no mention of 45W charging for the devices in the Note 20 series like the Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G and even S10 Lite. But there might be a separate reason as the 3C certification of the Note10+ from last year also makes no mention of 45W and yet it is supported. Likewise, they will also support but are not mentioned here.

Galaxy Z Flip 5G‘s 3C certification

Now coming to the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G (SM-F707, aka “Bloom-X”) it will feature a 15W charging with the help of the power adapter available in the box. This smartphone may switch to Snapdragon 865 as it is going to support 5G connectivity. The non-5G model features Snapdragon 855+ chipset and this chipset can not support 5G connectivity.
