Samsung Galaxy M36 Teased on Amazon with AI Features

Samsung has officially teased the launch of the Galaxy M36 in India through Amazon, offering an early look at the device’s rear camera setup. The phone’s launch date hasn’t been officially announced, but the teaser does reveal a vertically positioned triple-camera setup, which seems slightly modified when compared to the Galaxy M35.

Branded as a “Monster AIcon,” the Galaxy M36 is obviously going to be all about AI-related capabilities, indicating that Samsung is working on making artificial intelligence a big part of its product portfolio. The teaser comes after the device was spotted on the Samsung India website and Geekbench, so we’ve got a pretty good idea of what to expect. According to the Geekbench listing, the Samsung Galaxy M36 will be equipped with the Exynos 1380 SoC —the same processor used in the Galaxy M35.

While the Exynos 1380 is a capable mid-range chipset, its reuse may come as a surprise considering the M36 is arriving about a year after the M35. However, the M36 might deliver improvements in other areas, particularly in AI capabilities. Performance scores on Geekbench show the Galaxy M36 with 1004 points in the single-core test and 2886 points in the multi-core test. The listing also confirms the device will feature 6GB of RAM and run Android 15 with Samsung’s One UI 7 right out of the box.

As of now, other specifications remain under wraps, but Samsung is likely to share more teasers soon. The Samsung Galaxy M36 is set to replace the Galaxy M35, which debuted in India last July at ₹19,999. The M35 offered features like an FHD+ Super AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass Victus+, a 6,000mAh battery, a 50MP main camera, and a 13MP selfie shooter. The M36 is expected to build on this foundation with updated software and smarter features.
