Samsung has launched the Galaxy M21 2021 Edition in India as its latest budget smartphone. The 2021 Edition of the Galaxy M21 will be an upgrade from the original Galaxy M21 that launched last year.
Samsung has launched the Galaxy M21 2021 Edition in India with a 6.4″ FHD+ sAMOLED Display. It will be powered by the Exynos 9611 chipset and will run on Android 11 based OneUI 3 out-of-the-box.
The Galaxy M21 2021 Edition will feature a triple-camera setup on the rear with a 48MP primary sensor and an 8MP macro sensor along with a 5MP depth sensor. It will come with a 20MP selfie shooter on the front. The device retains the waterdrop notch.
Samsung has provided a massive 6,000mAh battery for the Galaxy M21 2021 Edition with support for 15W charging. It will be a dual-sim supporting device and will come in two storage variants, a 4GB+64GB variant and a 6GB+128GB variant.
It will also feature a MicroSD card slot so that the user can expand the memory if needed. The Galaxy M21 2021 Edition will have a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner as opposed to an under-display or side-mounted scanner.
The device will weigh 188g, is 8.9mm thick, and is expected to release in blue and black variants. The Galaxy M21 2021 Edition will retail from 12,499 INR and can be purchased from Amazon.com on the 26th of July from 12AM as a part of its prime day sale.
The Galaxy M21 2021 Edition does appear to be a budget beast, the star of the device is the battery and it does have a good camera setup considering its price. Samsung is clearly sending a message that it is the best when it comes to budget smartphones with this device.
