Samsung Galaxy M16 Leaked Renders Reveal Design and Colors

The Samsung Galaxy M16 5G is expected to launch soon as the successor to Galaxy M15 5G, which was introduced in India earlier this year in April. The next-gen device has surfaced on multiple benchmarking and certification websites revealing some of its key specs. Now, design renders of the Galaxy M16 5G have been leaked recently, showing a better look at its design and color variants as well. It is expected to share some features with the Galaxy A16 5G, which was launched in India in October.

As per Android Headlines, the leaked images show that the Galaxy M16 5G will come with sharper, flat edges, unlike the rounded edges found on the Galaxy M15 5G. This is more in line with what we find on mid-range and flagship Samsung handsets. It will come in color options black, green, and peach.

The rear camera arrangement is redesigned as well. The Galaxy M16 5G appears to have a pill-shaped camera island in a vertical orientation, which houses three sensors, unlike the M15 5G. The two big sensors sit side by side with a smaller circular sensor in between bringing up the rear, and an LED flash is found outside the module.

The SIM card slot is on the left edge, with the volume buttons and the power button, which also serves as the fingerprint sensor, on the right edge. It is said to sport an AMOLED display with thin bezels, a thicker chin at the bottom, and an Infinity-U notch on top for the front-facing shooter.

The Galaxy M16 5G was spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website, suggesting a launch in India. Other listings indicate that the phone will have dual-band Wi-Fi support, come with Android 14-based One UI 6 out of the box, and be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chip paired with up to 8GB of RAM.
