According to a recent report, the South Korean giant Samsung is planning to add a new member of its ‘M’ series. The rumor claimed that it could be a rebrand version of the Samsung Galaxy A02s. Recently this upcoming phone has been spotted on Google Play Console which reveals some key specifications of this upcoming phone.
The Google Play Console listing reveals that the phone comes with a model number of SM-M025F. Looking at the model number it is predicted that the upcoming phone could be Samsung Galaxy M02s. This upcoming phone also has a codename of ‘a02q’. This not only matches with the Galaxy A02s but also suggests that this phone could be a rebrand of the latter.
A few weeks ago, a smartphone with the model number of SM-MO25F/DS was spotted on Samsung’s official support page, which was released as Samsung Galaxy M02 and a rebrand of Samsung Galaxy A02. At that point, this upcoming device could be a rebrand of Galaxy A02s.
The predecessor of the upcoming Galaxy M02s- Galaxy A02s launched back in November but the phone is yet to go on sale in Europe. The phone will be priced at €150. Looking at the Galaxy A02s we can assume some specifications of the upcoming Galaxy M02s.
If the upcoming Galaxy M02s will be a rebrand of the Galaxy A02s then it will sport a bigger 6.5-inches HD+ display, whereas the Galaxy A02s sports 6.2-inches display size. But it is expected that the Galaxy M02s will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 450 SoC as same as Galaxy A02s.
The Galaxy A02s has a triple rear camera setup so it is predicted that the Galaxy M02s also have a triple rear camera setup with a 13 MP primary camera and two 2MP sensors. The Galaxy M02s is expected to have a 5,000 mAh battery with a 10W charging capacity. Regarding the storage capacity, the phone could have a 3GBRAM and 32GB internal storage.
