Samsung Galaxy M01 Core launched as an Entry-Level Smartphone in India

Samsung India came up with another entry level smartphone in the country. The smartphone is dubbed Galaxy M01 and is launched yesterday with Android Go and a single rear camera. This phone targets the millenniums of the country and the company targets every users to go for any smartphone regardless of its price, so they created a very basic and cheap one for the mass who were backing of to change to a smartphone due to the lack of finance.

Specification of Samsung Galaxy M01

The Samsung Galaxy features a 5.3-inch HD+ TFT display with a 5MP front camera and a single 8MP camera around the back with a LED flash light. There is no fingerprint support on this device. The phone runs on Android Go with One UI on top that brings a Dark Mode integration and features including Intelligent Inputs and Intelligent Photos. The phone also features a quad-core MediaTek 6739 SoC, coupled with up to 2GB of RAM and up to 32GB internal storage.

The phone is powered by a 3,000mAh battery and weighs only 150 grams. The phone is feels very compact and lightweight in the hand. The internal storage can be expanded by an external expandable micro-SD memory card.

Price and Availability

Samsung Galaxy M01 is priced at Rs. 5,499 for the base 1GB RAM + 16GB storage option, and its 2GB RAM + 32GB storage model is priced at Rs. 6,499. the phone is available in Black, Blue, and Red colour options. The phone will be available on Samsung India’s website and other leading e-commerce stores in India from July 29.
