Samsung Galaxy Fold4 and Flip4 to launch with Snapdragon 8 Gen1 Plus using TSMC’s 4nm process

In 2022, Samsung will again launch the next-gen foldable smartphones in the world and we know the Galaxy Fold4 and Flip4 are the ones you can comfortably expect this year.

While the South Korean giant has heavily been criticized about its own Exynos chips, the usage of Qualcomm chips using Samsung’s own 4nm process has been heavily been criticized for its heating and throttling issues. It seems Samsung wants to amend this by using the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen1 Plus chipset inside its new foldable smartphones.

This rumor from renowned tipster @UniverseIce who is confirmed that these new Samsung Galaxy Fold4 and Flip4 smartphones will be using these flagship chip from Qualcomm but being based out of TSMC’s 4nm process. This is a positive sign because a more efficient and yet powerful SoC performs well on a flagship smartphone that too if its a foldable.

Although you should do take this leak with a pinch of salt, however, the leak makes more sense than ever so cannot be taken lightly.
